A Winter Storm Watch is in effect until 6pm Wednesday February 5th. Freezing rain, sleet, and snow are all expected beginning Tuesday night through Wednesday. Winter precipitation will be heaviest from 3am to 10am. Wind chills could be in the teens and twenties. Counties west and northwest of the DFW Metroplex will be the most affected. Significant travel impacts can be expected as well.

Remember to bring in pets or provide adequate shelter. Cover outside plants to keep them from freezing. Cover outside faucets. Set inside faucets on a slow drip. Open cabinets with plumbing on exterior walls to circulate warm air and keep pipes from freezing. And remember to keep SERVPRO of Northwest Fort Worth's phone number handy just in case - 817-232-3333.
